Your ‘Bespoke Wig’ – ‘Designed by You’ in just a few simple steps…

Cant find what you’re looking for in a wig or topper? Want something a bit special or different to what you are finding online or in stores?

I have you covered! I can make you your very own wig or topper! Remember ´build a bear´? Well, this is build your own hair! LOL

Let me take you through all the things I need to know in order to be able to build your beautiful new hair.

And don’t worry, if you are not advanced in ´wig language´ I will break down each point so you can fully understand the process. I have been selling wigs now for more than 2 years and I am still learning! It is a whole world of wig knowledge our there! The wig world is a wide one, so let me help you with this as much as possible.

Also, just to point out, I will NOT charge you any extra for this service and I will NOT ask you to pay a deposit up front. I will make your wig under your instruction. Once I have your new hair, I will send you pictures and I will add it to my online shop for you to buy. If, you do not like it or do not what to purchase it at that time, no problem. I sell wigs online, if you are wanting this style, don’t worry, I will have another client who will also be looking for this style. Also, what I usually do is I add it to my wig shop as a ´forever item´. I don’t have everything I would like to have on my little wig shop quite yet, so I am using your hair inspiration to add stock to my shop.

Its win win! LOL

Step 1:

First, lets start with an easy question….

What cap size are you?

Generally most wigs are ´Medium.  All my wigs, more or less, are medium sized as it caters to most people. However, I can make any size here as I am making this wig from scratch. Just for you!

Step 2:

Do you have a photo of what you would like? As I can take any photo and copy that! This also helps to see what style and colours you’re thinking of.

I want to get into your mind and understand exactly what you want so that I can make you the exact wig you are wanting.

Step 3:

Colours, to help you, I have a colour chart, but if you can not see the colour you are looking for, remember, I can get ANYTHING. The sky is the limit when ordering your customised piece from me.

Step 4:

Cap construction. SILK OR LACE! The big debate!

This is where I find people are divided. There are strong opinions here on what is ´best´. There is no right or wrong here or best or worst. Everyone has a different opinion. Do you want to hear mine? I prefer silk. There I said it LOL. I will tell you why. I like silk best as I have hair underneath and if I wear lace it shows my hair underneath more. Also I don’t like the ´look´ of the lace front, I can always ´tell´. BUT then I have a keen wig eye! So perhaps don’t listen to my opinion as it will be different to most as I have seen so many wigs. The only wig than can genuinely fool me is a silk wig. That’s why I favour it.

Big Differences Between Silk & Lace are:

  • Silk is heavier generally. Lace is lighter.
  • Silk has less smaller hairs due to the construction and the sewing of the silk. Do you hate the little hairs that stick up at the parting on you lace wigs, this will not happen with silk.
  • If you prefer to glue your wigs lace is better for this, but you can also glue silk.
  • With lace you can cut your own hairline, silk you can not.
  • The hair parting at the top, the scalp, on a silk top, looks as thought the hairs are coming out of your head. It is the most realistic looking scalp you will find on the market. On lace you will be able to see the lace (on close inspection) However, also you must think that MOST PEOPLE will not be getting up close and personal with your new hair! LOL

Step 5:

Length. How long do you want your hair? Remember if you are being mindful over the costs, the shorter the hair the cheaper the price. However, of course you can try me on a few different lengths and see the difference. Please note, hair length is always measured in inches.

Accessories & Add Ons

Would you like clips? or Pu sections (silicone strips)

I find my clients with no hair like; no clips and PU added for that non slip sensation. I personally like clips and no PU as I now have hair. Totally up to you and I wont charge any extra for this service.

PLEASE NOTE: Customised wigs can take anywhere up from 15 days to 1 month, please remember I am making these from scratch for you.
